Aloha, Huikala Family!

In light of the COVID-19 Pandemic, we’re looking at a new opportunity for greater connectedness and growth TOGETHER!

On Sunday, March 22, 2020, Honolulu Mayor Kirk Caldwell issued a stay-at-home, work-from-home order which is in effect until at least April 30. This means we, as the church, have a great opportunity to remain connected in other ways outside of our normal Sunday and Wednesday service times!

* We are biblically obligated to gather together for prayer, worship and community.

* The church is not limited by geographic location or a specific service time.

* Watching a preaching service online does not fulfill our biblical obligation of prayer, worship and community.

* Jesus and His church should be the rock during this time of uncertainty.

* We need one another. We cannot and should not do this alone.

Here’s how we, as Huikala Baptist Church, will respond…

You’ll get the opportunity to watch our services online and WORSHIP TOGETHER with Huikala family, literally across the globe. We’ll do this via Facebook Live or here on our LiveStream page.

You’ll have the opportunity to join in a Connect Group online via videoconference. If you’ve never joined a Connect Group, this is a GREAT time to do so! We’ll share praises, prayer requests and then discuss the message from the previous Sunday morning.

We’ll meet up online for a time of fellowship, praise and prayer.

Please reach out if there is anything at all that I can do for you during this time. If you call Huikala your home, I’m praying for you!

Your friend,
